A Berlin loft apartment without doors needed an architectural solution so guests could go to the bathroom while the bedroom is in use. The users also needed a smart and spacious storage solution.
We developed a concept with flexible curtains and railings. Storage space is hidden behind a white curtain wall. Industrial shelving systems maximize flexibility and keep the solution on a budget. A curved rail setup turns the bed into a cloud-like experience with light washing in through semi-transparent white curtains.
Now the users can have flexible uses according to their needs – an open studio setup, a private divider, an introverted cave or a dreamy cloud.
